Alex was born and raised on the Isle of Vulpena, the same as Ivan. Her parents knew she was different the moment she could read and write, because when she took the writing test, her parchment was covered with schematics for a boat, rather than the standardized test statement. Though, when she was only 14, she was taken from her house at night by SOCIETY members, and branded with a cog on her left shin. She was then thrown out into the vast wasteland of the island, left to die.
After miraculously surviving the desert for a year and a half, she saw a fox walking through the desert. She met up with him, and found out his name was Ivan. They decided to work together and build a small shack out of flotsam and jetsam they found in the desert.
After living together and settling in, they decided to hunt the area for anyone else. Upon finding about 2 dozen others, Ivan brought them together and created the Misfits. Alex was appointed the head engineer, who builds most of their equipment.
On their first vengeful strike, they stole numerous amounts of goods to get by with from SOCIETY's main HQ. Alex got a small burn on her arm from one of the lights during this raid, but managed to steal a decent pair of goggles for her job.
Currently, she builds the finest crossbow and sword in the fort.
