Sometimes you just need to ask whether a reality shifting wolverine creature is "evil".
Was writing out some dialogue playing out some thoughts about trickster demigods and what counts as evil, and turned into this short piece of Jasper talking with a friend at a coffee shop.
(And oops have two stories with characters turned into coffee and pastry...I think that's fine.)

Liked the kinda existential angle this one had; you telegraph the mise-en-abyme reveal well enough that it had me thinking towards the conclusion before I read it, and then thinking about it once I had. The meditations on your character were very intriguing...but don't take yourself too seriously, now!
At first this was just meant to be a conversation with myself on what's the difference between "evil" and "mischievous", then morphed into a story how Jasper would see himself, then eventually settled into a space in between.
Don't worry, I'm not at risk of taking things too seriously. Just like playing with perspective~
