Still on a break from my regular stuff, but for the tail end of Skunktember (just in time) I decided to show this. You know I almost never do straight-up fanart, but in my slump I've been focusing on simpler, more personal things that come into my head. That said, I do like the Lost Boys, and I REALLY like this kid. I think I like the shy, quiet character (maybe nonverbal autism coded?), and the fact he wears a skunk suit gives me the feeling he's totally comfortable with who he is. And then there's the shot during Wendy's song of him rocking on his own tail.
Going back to the original book, I also love Barrie's description that he's "Not the least brave but the most unfortunate [...] he had been in fewer adventures than any of them;" but also that "this ill-luck had given a gentle melancholy to his countenance, but instead of souring his nature had sweetened it, so that he was quite the humblest of the boys."
