Here's the first comic I finished after moving up to Oakland. The Jedi Knights Club Mascot wonder Hamster and his sidekick "Melvin" prepare to ride the "Sonic Toad" Mk IV off to the distant hills of Oakland. Of course the 400 mile + trip has been shortened considerably in order to fit it all in one panel.

I know you've been through a lot lately, with more change to come. Still, these are the situations where, if you take the opportunities, you may surprise yourself with when you end up at. I've had to make a few scary 'leaps of faith' myself.

That was the idea. The F-104 was termed as "A missile with a man in it," while the Sonic Toad is considered to be "A missile with a saddle on it."

more like a missile shaped coffin. boy, it´s accident rate was skyhigh! and that bottom dropping ejection seat in the initial versions was unhelpful x)

I think some pilots of the venerable F-4 "Phantom" believed that the aircraft had a glide ratio of 1 to 1. The idea was that if a powerful enough engine was put into anything, it would fly.
