Very cute. And you shouldn't be so negative about it. Its very good! Much better then anything i can do with acrylics!

*laugh* Well, you see...I tried underpainting it, realized that was a nightmare (you can still see a bit of it, the more reddish bits of the otters probably shouldn't be. And then I did something with the background and it was vile so I painted over THAT. I really do like the way the otters turned out. I just think it could have been a bit nicer if I'd either left it with just them or done something a little nicer with the background.

My ex roommate keeps telling me that I'm still treating acrylic like it's oil.

If you don't point out the faults , noone will notice them. :p
Besides, acrylics should be layered, so it works out :p

And if anyone complains, just claim Artistic Licence its the best friend an arist will ever have :P
