The race of the Jogai are aquatic themed beings hailing from our galaxy, usually using genetic science to make their ships and weapons, the being you see in the image is not the main body but actually a puppeteered form the Jogai floating behind it has made. They store a gel like fluid inside their body in 3 different sacs that can be manipulated by them to do various things most usually a bipedal form being created to operate equipment or interact with the world easier.
They are one of a few species making up an empire or collection of similar aquatic like aliens.
