A doodle from a recent commission that I think make be helpful as an example to others.
To me, these are the three main (very generalized) ways anthros are often portrayed, here using a masc feline example.
The first on the left being more chibi, with big round features, like an animal on their hindlegs with a bit of simplification for the sake of stylisation.
The second being a general digidigrade furry style. A more human torso, elongated limbs, a bit more detail given but still animalistic in structure.
The third, comes off anatomically comes off more as a person with animalistic features, rather than the inverse. Flat plantigrade feet, regular hands, a more defined muscular structure and less toony facial features.
Hopefully this can help folks portray what theyre after bodyshape wise :D
