First you have to get them into the shower. (I had to pick Kona up and carry her.) Then it's an hour per dog, or thereabouts, to scrub them. Then, for the next three days, you will find yourself in the middle of a fur storm every time you get anywhere close to them with a comb.

But ya gotta love them...

I knew someone in Flagstaff who did spin sled dog fur into yarn and did knit with it. Neighbor who worked at a living history museum. I used to give her trash bags full of Shane's fur in the spring.

My mother spoke of someone in her town in Norway during WW2 who saved the fur from their dog for several years. Ended up with a nice sweater at a time when new clothing was almost impossible to obtain. The fiber is called Chiengora https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiengora

Now, you see, despite the stereotype, there's a Husky here at my DM's house whose just the same! I don't think I've hardly ever heard her make a sound!!

Ah, the coat. Gotta love Huskies.

I had a similar situation with my German Shepherd / Akita mix. Constant shedding. The stuff was great on the garden, though. Kept rabbits and other critters out (and birds loved it for nesting material).

and there you go... I actually ran across this fellow on X who had a whole bunch of Huskies, and he was gathering their fur, spinning it into yarn, and knitting jackets with it. I thought that was brilliant.

or my best friend's wife gave me an IBM model m keyboard (dated 1991) and it recently started having problems. I took off each key and pulled out a fur ball of around 10" wide and 6" deep of cat hair! No wonder it was having problems!

That reminds me of several years ago when I had two shedding dogs and hadn't vacuumed in a while, and I had to literally rake my carpet with a garden rake. That got up enough shed fur to fill a laundry basket.

I do! besides the Shark robo, we have a Dyson Animal which is the best ever for such things. It hangs on the wall charging until you need it.

I love huskies my moms both have a husky mix with a Labrador retriever. His name is Mac cause he's the color of Mac and cheese 🧀 he's super chatty and howls at you when he wants to go on a car ride. Your huskies sound so cute. 🥰🥰🩷
