"Where have you been? Where have you been? Damn you! Where have you been? ... And where were you twenty years ago? Ten years ago? Where were you when I was new? When I was one of those innocent young maidens you always come to? How dare you! How dare you come to me now, when I am this!"

I just hate that he allowed all of the cussing to be taken from his movie. I MISS THE "DAMN YOU, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" ALL of the "damn"s and such have been entirely removed! It always made me feel like an adult when I watched the movie as a kid. XD
Lovely illustration! I do not want to seem negative, as this is a gorgeous piece from one of my favorite movies, but to me her head seems much more realistic than the rest of her body. Hmm. Anyway, still super lovely. :D

This movie was so touching. Especially this scene, because it reminded me of my poor aunt, a hard working, broken and exhausted "old" wife of an uncaring, not very smart talking, annoying husband. She even looks very similar to that moviecharacter in my eyes. They are very similar in general...
I'm sure she's still waiting for her own unicorn aswell... But she'll be blind in a few years nevertheless... She wont be able to see the changes in their life, if it even changes, which I highly doubt... ;-;

I totally agree. The only DVD version that's so far decent is the German released one. (it was re-released here and has a different cover with more stylized almost anime looking art, and it's somewhat metallic.) To me the American version of the DVD that was first released sounded like all the characters had been sucking helium (ESPECIALLY the hunters at the beginning. I remember watching it and being like o.O wtf? Hahahaha!!) but the second release they did was MUCH better, albeit still edited if I remember correctly.
