The Battle of Nerak’s Gulch was a grievous and unlooked-for turn in the wars of Hell. When the great banners of House Threx’Maor were cast down, all oaths of fealty were broken, and the southern dominions rose in full rebellion. Yet by the sole hand and will of Crown Prince Kharvyn Threx’Maor was that rising put to ruin. With fire and steel he laid waste to the rebels, hewing down their banners, breaking their houses, and scourging their bloodlines from the land. Thus was the rebellion quenched, and the lords of the south brought to heel, their strength in arms and industry left as ash and carrion.
