Idone is the lover of Lukef. At the time, Lukef was a humble traveler, making his way wherever the winds took him. He came across Idone in India, and the two fell in love. However, Lukef said he was destined to travel until the time was right for him to take her as his own. Idone agreed, saying their souls would meet in the end, and she would wait for him to return to her.

Years went by, and Idone became worried, feeling that Lukef had missed his returning. She set off from her home in search of him, for she loved him so. She heard rumours and stories that led her to Egypt, right to the palace, where she spotted Lukef in rich garb under the command of a powerful falcon. Confused, Idone tried to confront him, and realized Lukef had been manipulated by Artuk, the falcon, into believing a false reality.

Artuk challenged them both, calling them blasphemous and traitors. Idone tried to explain reason to him, but Artuk, in fury, struck her down with his curved blade. Idone died in Lukef's arms, but not before telling him of her everlasting love for him, and how, even as she lie dying, she was merely glad to have been able to find him again before death.

It's unknown whether Idone exists as a ghost, as Lukef does.
