Species of Alter: The Taliqatzi [Clothed]
[NSFW Version can be found here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62358129 ]
"The Deko'Lahk ordra is a vast empire full of amazing species, but to start us off, we are eager to introduce the largest sentient species in our entire Universe [Abeyance excluded, of course]! Meet the soft, gentle, and always lovable Taliqatzi, one of the four sacred tribes of the Ordra! In the Empire of the reptiles, where many species manage to surpass most humans and mammals in terms of height and mass, the Taliqatzi stand out as proper giants, averaging 12 feet tall but able to grow as big as 14 feet! They are quite broad as well, with long, prehensible tails they can use like a third arm!"
"In the Deko'Lahk Ordra, duties and responsibilities are normally broken up by tribe [species], and class. The Taliqatzi are no exception to this rule, and from the moment they are born they are trained in species schools by their fellow kin on how to be shamans! Quite a mystical word for such a tech-forward empire to use right? Well, it's meaning might be a bit different than what you know! In the Ordra, Shaman's are not just spiritual gurus, though helping reptiles and outsiders alike in their 'soul-finding journey' is a primary duty of their kind. They also serve as extremely skilled doctors, physicians, therapists, and psychiatrists, all rolled into one single occupation! Talk about a big responsibility for a big species!~"
"The Taliqatzi are also well known for their general kind temperament. They are known to be empathetic, patience, open-minded, selfless, and even downright bubbly or jovial in nature. They are also all pacifistic, as their tribe made a pact over six thousand years ago, swearing to never again take up arms in anger! As a result, the Taliqatzi are the only Sacred Tribe in the empire who cannot be a member of the Verashka, the Ordra's elite crusader faction! They still assist their peoples' military efforts in other ways though, mostly by serving as medics and therapists behind the lines! You couldn't ask for a more gentle giant!"
"Did you know?: Taliqatzi hold the highest rate of xeno-marriages of all the sacred tribes? They are also third by species pecentile in the entire Deko'Lahk Ordra, beaten out only by Serpents and Gidi!"
"Did you know?: Taliqatzi traditionally don't wear clothing outside of a sash on their tail! Of course, out of respect for xeno species, they now often dress in simple robes, but talk about bold and proud!"
- From Fracture Educational Departments' "Species of the Trifecta, Part 4: Reptiles of the Deko'Lahk Ordra!"

The reptiles in Alter have been kinda getting left behind in lore for a bit so I wanted to introduce one of their species for fun.~ I might make a thing of out this 'cause there are plenty of fun mammal species out there too. I just like drawing unique beans.~
I named this big cutie Cozu'Mei, just Mei for short.~ He'll likely return at some point, i just like big soft guys <3
As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated!
Fun Fact: "Qzi'ta" is Ordran for "Little friend".
