I really haven't watched such a good movie in a long time. No one is trying to prove anything to anyone. It's just an excellent film. It doesn't try to show off with some "next brilliant idea." It's simply a beautifully adapted book. The acting is fantastic, especially Dracula (Caleb Landry Jones)—I'm just in love with his performance, with those emotions, and the way he expresses everything. The costume details and backgrounds are stunning. The cultural aspects of the eras depicted in the film are wonderfully conveyed. Once again, I have to say, the work of the costume designers is exceptional. It's delicate, beautiful, and, most importantly, canonical! Bravo, Luc Besson!!!
