Really good li'l glowup of an already cool character, less is more sometimes. You have such a huge variety of characters with such neat designs, it's inspirational to see! Simplification is something I'm still blind to in my own work but man it'd help so much!

thank you, that’s really nice of you to say! I’m definitely not an expert but honestly I think a lot of simplification is figuring out what you personally like and are able to draw repeatedly without getting too tired/bored/confused. I can’t leave most designs too complex because I know myself and know I’d never draw them lol. The other big thing that’s helped me is studying designs you like and trying to figure out what makes them read well and look appealing. I think a lot of that ends up being something artists improve at kind of subconsciously, especially if you’re someone who likes making characters or designs (or tinkering with your existing ones) because you just have so much practice. Unsolicited advice from someone whose still learning haha but maybe it’ll help a bit ^_^

That's a great way of looking at it! A lot of my favourites and artists I engage with are specifically because of what you mentioned, I love to study their techniques and see what makes their art so great and yours is no exception!
