For today I wanted to keep up my higher effort painting practices trend from my last drawing and I also wanted to incorperate something related to silksong in the image as well so I chose to draw Shakra. This piece was overall quite fun to work on and a decent test of my skills so far, fur I find makes digital painting a bit easier as theres alot of simple tricks to add the impression to texture to fur but the flat carapace that Shakra had proved much more difficult to work on. In the end I had to recolour the carapace once and redo the entire images shading once as well but I do think the finished result was well worth that effort. The background was another experiment in low detail out of focus stuff so I tried to imply the existence of some simple buildings with windows in them back there. I had a ton of fun working on this image and definitely have a couple more Silksong pieces planned but for now I want to get another quick smut drawing out and then I can go back to Silksong art mines for a bit.
