A color test page I did in colored pencil for the handpainted cel coloring technique I wanted to do for this image. The painting is still in progress and not quite turning out like this image did. When I think of the millions upon millions of cels it must have taken to create most of the animation I've seen in my life (a lot of it was in the days before computers) I'm aghast at how much work that must have been considering how difficult this one has been for me so far.
