Interesting and vaguely creepy. Reminds me of a dream I had about an infectious expression that spread across the faces of the people who saw it; it was an expression that was alien to humans.

Very Lovecraftian in a Dikinsien kind of way.. if you know what I mean. ^_^

Seriously; looks like an interesting premise to start with, and kind of suitable given the frequent blending of artistic/creative oomph and "madness". Have you ever seen a BBC Horizon documentary called "Mad but Glad"? It's about a piano prodigy's attempt to find out how dependent his musical mastery, and other people's creativity, is on psychological problems.

Interesting stuff. :)

I'd never heard of "Mad but Glad" before, but the premise sounds interesting. Don't suppose it's up on YouTube or anything?
