He might not understand it, but closure and healing is happening, and soon he'll hopefully be able to let Slayer go and lean on the family around him instead. Slayer has more than earned his rest, and Drift has long since earned the peace that trauma has refused him. Here's to hoping everyone gets a break from the harshness of reality, even if only for a few days.
