I've had this idea in my notes for a very long time. Something silly that hopefully will provide some laughs to those who see it. SO, this image has abit of a story to it. I've had my full name "hondragri" for well over 20 years. I came up with the name "hondragrid" back on xboxlive when playing Halo 2 online multiplayer. I wanted a name that I liked and something that was unique and interesting. Found some friends in that time frame, jumped from game to game and eventually Johnny suggested I play a game called Call of Duty 4 modern warfare with him and his other friends. I also adopted shortening my name to "Hondra" as it was much easier to say when in the moment. Hondragrid is a mouthful when you've got to give out details and call outs mid game. This is the timeframe where my name being "Honda" started to become a joke.

Scoreboards in COD4 had global voice, so you'd hear opponents chit chatting and could interact with each other (mostly kids or squeakers we used to call them). For some reason and its been like this for YEARS, the R in my name would just fall off when people pronounced my name. I would be called "Honda grid". Our group rolled with this and it became a joke. "Honda? Honda Civic? Honda Accourd?" would be used to tease opponents who mispronounce my name and just have fun with it. This is where the original running joke that I'm "Honda" instead of "Hondra".

Even to this day, I will hear other furrys see my name incorrectly (even though I go by the shorthand Hondra in all chat programs) I'm STILL called "Honda" on first glance. Many spell checkers will deny individuals trying to write my name correctly. Even random people I play with in games TO THIS DAY will call me Honda. I got a screen cap where one individual said "That's not how you spell Honda, Idiot!" makes me laugh every time. XD Its a joke I share with everyone. I'm the Honda derg. :D
I like to roll with it and joke about it. Everyone gets a laugh and its something special I get to share with each of you. Many of you seeing this, that I've bumped into on discord, are already aware of my fondness of joking about this. :D

So its only fitting the Honda derg is a Honda car sales man. C:
Lots of silly references in this image. Two are rather easy to spot and the third is a bit tough to notice. Artist shout out is  rollwulf did the lines and her partner  growingdragon did the colors to provide some humor to make us all smile a little bit. I LOVE that Roll added some flair to the Honda icon. She did a fantastic job at bringing my idea to life. I laughed so many times even during the sketch phase and that thumbs up is too good. I'm also happy that she liked my suggestion of Anrim and Kair (their characters) being special guests in this image to join in on the sillyness.
