Yes, and if you want to know what happened to it, it was destroyed. It was already destabilized and quite volatile by the time anyone got to it. When STEEL bombed it again, it went critical.

They infiltrated the operations both on the STEEL and Eltyr side. One came across my path and cut me off from the STEEL contact I had so I was isolated. Then they tied strong-arming me to cooperate.
I played along, trying to save my own skin.
They found the object and tried to secure it. I was selected to handle the object because I had no wielder abilities. The object was supposed to absorb anomalous energy, so me not having any was the perfect guinea pig to handle it.
When the bombs fell, I was transported to the Void again, and the object went critical, I tossed it into the abyss.

I don't really know. I was hit with an attack from a wielder that ran energy through my body. I think it somehow jump-started my powers.
