"A living embodiment filled with the embodiment of the Tyrant Queen's elements: Fiery passion, frigid perseverance, shocking observation, reactive motions, and the heart-seeking finale."
I knew this guy was going to be tough to draw because Dragonborn heads are funky. Realizing that the horns are like a Tiefling's in that they're a continuation of the forehead was wild to learn. The most difficult part though, other than the weird head, is figuring out motion and drawing the hair-tendrils. Most of my challenges have been me overthinking but, of all the elements that I wanted to change, my favorite change has got to be making his gi half-off. It looks cool and I get to show off more of his physique!
Between working on this guy and Axal (another Dragonborn commish), it's safe to say I've a better understanding of how detailed dragonborns are. I'm aware that in Baldur's Gate 3, their scales are like a whole extra skeleton, complete with patterns that are unique to the forms they encompass (lookin' at you, spinal scales). I didn't do that in this one because I wanted his scales to look more sleek, whilst the face is more obviously mottled.
Also, no shade for those who like it, but putting humanoid ears on a reptilian body is a peculiar choice – one that I've battled with between the two dragonborn pieces. All in all though, I had fun :>
