"Don't need your crap, king! I won't be a knight under such tyranny and you know what, I'll show myself the door!"
Proceeds to bust the door down with brute strength.
Piece from 2024.
Mixture of Rune Knight and Unarmed Fighter for this tuff lil Kobold lady. I kept calling her a Barbarian in the dev posts (Patreon) when in reality, she's a mix of two martials and I don't know much about her other than a tiny bit of background story. Otherwise, the client just supplied her description and insisted that she has a bag on her tail.
Figuring out the bag part was so difficult to wrap my brain around until I realized... Kobolds don't have butt cheeks! Unless, of course, you're looking at certain artwork!
The tattoos and emblem were last minute additions and I gotta say, while the tattoos are basic, the emblem on her breastplate was REALLY fun to do. Its design was a no-brainer, especially when the client said that the parts of the sword should be replaced with dragon assets. Wings for the cross-guard? No problem!
While I had to push this piece back from Cycle 2 to Cycle 3 because of deadlines, a ton of work, and burnout approaching, the client was very understanding and even told me to push it back to the next cycle if necessary. They were happy to wait as long as it was needed because they trust me and my work! :>
