Long time no post!
One day I got randomly inspired to use a base. Found this one and thought it was pretty neat! And I happen to have five characters I could use!
Here are what I can confidently say is the main cast of my story characters! From left to right: Gabby, Shaun, Samira, Tom and Yani. There's two more (or three if you want to count Tom's deceased father) but they are fairly minor and don't drive the story forward as much as these guys do. As for the actual story itself, the comic I wanted to do? It's... It's a work in progress. Haven't had much luck yet but we persevere!!! maybe (it also still doesn't have a name!!!)
Base used: xXxYou can honestly stop reading here but I feel like I should actually talk about my characters more. Not that anyone cares. But if I don't talk about them, people will continue to not care. Sooooo, here's a little bit about them!
Tom and Yani are a couple though it isn't necessarily the healthiest. Both of them would deny it if you said that to them though. Out of everyone, I focus on these two the most 👍 (well, they are the protagonists...)
Gabby and Tom met in high school and are very good friends. Though prior to when the story starts, they spent a significant amount of time apart. You wouldn't have been able to guess though because the time apart hasn't affected their friendship at all, haha! I'd say Gabby is the next most important character after Tom and Yani.
Samira is Gabby's best friend. BFFs!! She also met Tom in high school. However, they don't like each other very much. But after some circumstances with Samira's workplace, the two are forced to collaborate. They eventually warm up to each other and become somewhat good friends! (until Tom under the influence of Yani ruins it again but-) Also she has a big fat crush on Shaun.
I've drawn Shaun before but now he has clothes on LOL! But I haven't given him a casual outfit yet so he's in his work clothes, haha. Anyway, he's co-workers with Tom and they get along extremely well. But they also get into a lot of arguments because he doesn't trust the nature of Tom's relationship. And then Tom shuts him out all together...... He's acquainted with Gabby and Samira through Tom (but unaware that Samira likes him).
Aaaand nobody likes Yani. Expect Tom. Maybe.
Naaw, just kidding. Well, sort of. It's complicated. Gabby wants them to be friends and to get along. But she's a little scared of her, what with the death threats and all...

hey it turned out amazing! ^-^ and don't worry about rambling about your characters, I do this alot X3 but I also like hearing what all you guys come up with :3 and don't worry if your comic is taking forever to do, mine is too, but don't let that stop ya ÚwÙ Sometimes I work on mine when I've not got anything else I need to finish first, so maybe that might be a good time to work on it :o perhaps one panel at a time could help
no prob ^-^ try not to be hard on yourself <:3 art takes time and some take longer to complete than others. but I'm sure it will be a rewarding experience once it's complete ÚwÙ I know for sure I felt that way when I completed the story of The Magic School And The Haunted Castle ^w^ meanwhile, maybe checking out tips for comic making on youtube aswell as checking out all kinds of good advice (especially from fellow artists and ofcourse, your pals) might help! maybe that might be a good source of motivation too!
most importantly, just have fun! remember art is an enjoyable hobby so make sure you're able to relax and enjoy yourself while making it, maybe playing your favourite (and/or fitting) songs to help boost your motivation and add a bit more fun while you draw. I know for sure I like to do this ^-^ and if you haven't had enough time to work on it, don't worry, as long as you don't set yourself time limits, you have all the time in the world you need to complete it UwU I wonder if I can think up ways to help both of us have more time and motivation.. :o
