This kid dosnt know how lucky he is...

He throws his pitty bait out into the waters of furry artists, and a person who is obviously less fortunate than he (who is going to 3 furry conventions) answers the call with what would usually be a close to $10 con badge.

Can you all believe that, Bucky is just barely making it through life as it is, and pretty much only hopes to be able to go to one furry convention this year, and is so kind as to do a free con badge for someone who is going to 3 furry conventions!?!?

Bucky indicated that he would do this con badge for $5 to $8 dollars to be told by this cute innocent con fur, that he couldnt pay fair compensation, because... *mock tears up*... all his money was going for the 3 conventions he was going to.

The value of this con badge should be about $12 to $15... (which considering the artists skills and the going value of such things in the furry fandom market, is still very reasonable.)

Thanks a lot. But now I feel bad about this since you seem to feel jipped along with the other comment. I'll see what I can do for money. I got some money right now for the cons but not much as is and now looks like I may not have a ride to said cons. I wont know that till after AC is over. And to clear up some things with bastnfalkr. Of those 3 cons (Of which only 2 are fur related anyways and ones anime) one is local and my friend is paying my admission for my upcoming birthday. The other 2 I got rooming and a ride for free but got to pay the admission myself which will consist of all my birthday money which may not even be enough. I was actually going to note bucky tonight to tell him he dosent have to do the badge because now my ride is unlikely to go and thusly I may not make either con anymore. And since thats the case I have the money to spare now to pay for him. I may still be able to goto said cons but I wont know till next month but i'll pay him anyways. I'll sacrifice one con to pay him cause I wont have enough for both admissions if I pay him right now but I will anyways. Bucky. Note me a address and $$$ amount and i'll send it asap. First and foremost, I'm usually known to be a really nice guy... I care for people a lot, and have proven it over and over again.

So I dont really appreciate the general tone of your response, in that it sounds like either, Bucky or I... most likely me... are forcing you into further dire straits and messing up your wonderful plans to have fun, by my mentioning what I did about this matter.

Dude, welcome to the world of financial feasibility, the furry fandom, and anime, or sci-fi, or what ever, is perforated with poor people... it is only logical for them to economize and band together (FAIRLY) concerning money, and do the ride share and or room share things.

I'll show no pitty, and still remain as wonderfully nice as I'm known to be, in not crying any tears for these type of considerations... they are just logical... not something to used to draw pitty for yourself or your "desperate" situation.

You do not mention in your posts here and elsewhere that your plans are so tentative as you indicate in this reply. Especially that their so tentative, that if you act fairly towards someone rather than having conned them into doing arts for you, especially with the simple excuse that you cant pay because your going (not possibly going) to 3 conventions.

This is the real world... If you cant afford to compensate people fairly, then you have to pick one or the other, before you weazle someone into doing it for you.

Of course, i doubt highly that you offering fair compensation for Buckys art, especially as an apology for taking advantage of him, isnt going to break your bank, especially if you planned on purchasing something from the cons, like a con badge from the dealers den/s, which average $20 to $25

Its not even going to break your bank if you dont intended on purchasing anything at one of the 3 conventions you were going to, but for some odd (I'm guessing bad money management skills) reason, if you pay Bucky fairly, the $5 to $8 he mistakingly asked for, being that the final product is a larger than normal con badge, which should be closer to twice the asking price he mentioned.

I refuse to show pitty for bad money management skills, in your planning out how your going to attend these 3 conventions, especially when it seems like your calling forth even more pitty in an apology meant concerning how you took advantage of someone.

Sorry to here about your ride... I suggest hitting the ride share forums that most likely are or will be set up for the conventions, and I wish you all the luck in finding another transportation resource...

and especially the I cant or wont and my plans are ruined by simply paying for a very reasonably priced con badge that you would have if you had got away with taking advantage of a very unfortunate furry artist, because its hard to get the fortunate ones to do anything for you for free.

They say that hind site is 20 - 20... and to prove the matter I'm coming back not to revoke the statement but to clarify that it wasnt meant to be as "personal" of a statement as it may seem it was.

I give everyone the benefit of the dout, as far as their person / furson, infact I make a personal goal to try to see ever further past benefit of the dout, and see everyone / everyfur, as an incredible treasure in my world.
