At first, he thinks a spirit has crested the gangplank – some divine entity, a blessing to see the ship off? Water streams over her body, a seeming elemental of land and sea, moving with excited speed towards Sir Iverson: A vision of hips and curves, a diminuitive little fey creature, some kind of elemental sylph gleaming in the early sunlight, water coursing over a body covered in lush tropical growth and surrounded by curls of steam at her hips. She must be an elemental, yes, but then he sees where the water and verdency ends is fur, oiled and gleaming.
An indulgent piece I did for myself of my D&D character, the shapeshifting chimerical Pet (a druid/bard multiclass) sporting her legendary "armour" (which took three years of real-time to craft!).

But yeah, it's very much a literal, "it protects you by making you sexy" armour, as opposed to the conventional and ever-sensible, "it protects you by covering up your vulnerable meatbag body" lol
My DM/husband is the best :D I could've gone more conventional - he originally thought I'd make her a kind of thieving scoundrel character, but when I started leaning into the sexy horny bard thing (which I'd actually never done before this character), he was, of course, more than happy to go that way, too XDDD

This is quite beautiful! Been a long time follower of your art. Always loved the detail you put in your artworks. Absolutely love the wolves in the fog/clouds/smoke. I know I don't comment much. Mostly because I'm no artist and I don't hold any credibility to say much. Though I had to say this upon seeing this artwork. Its quite beautiful!
Something I've seen mentioned on social media recently (so it must be true, right?) is that, in general and on the whole, most artists love effusive positive feedback and wish they got more of it. They post their art here for us to enjoy it, after all! Like you, I have a tendency to be reticent with my praise, but I'm trying to break out of that and be more fulsome in my appreciation.
Thank you for the kind words. Yeah I'm trying to be more vocal myself. I guess one of my issues is that I don't want to sound repetitive. I want my words to be meaningful while providing some tiny details of what is amazing. Then again, my issue with that as well is that there is a few artists, who I no longer follow since because I was blocked, just because I faved and didn't provide comment or enough reason why I liked it. Though I will continue to try to mention how much I like the artworks I find.
Wow, they blocked you?? Seems spoiled to complain about, "Oh, they give me positive attention, but not the kind I want. *turns up nose*"
I know what you mean, though - it can be hard because (going back to my food metaphor), it can feel like you're just saying, "Wow, it's so delicious" over and over again. But yeah, I think most people appreciate a kind word, even if it's not particularly in-depth or unique - it's just *nice* you know? Certainly better than not getting any attention at all.

The aspect ratio of this just begs to have it used as a phone backdrop. So that is what I have done. Pet is now giving me that haughty squint over some home-screen app icons. It's definitely not what I'd normally choose as a background because of the visual clutter, but the overall effect is jewel-like because it's such a gorgeous piece!
Like others, I particularly love the storm-puppies, but the whole lush art-nouveau presentation is just so radiant and sweet.
I'm also tickled that it takes a few moments to decode that the highest-luminance area on my screen is in fact somebody's arse.

Thank you! The aspect ratio was actually designed as potential custom bottle labels for my husband :) And yes, it's a *very* busy picture, but that was part of the joy of it, haha. I think the "stars" radiating out from the moon are maybe more art deco than art nouveau, but myeeehh, I did it anyway XD
And yeah, Pet's a shapeshifter whose appearance changes regularly but her butt markings always stay the same, so her ass has become her trademark lol - plus it kinda went along with the whole "full moon" pun, haha.
