SILKSONG SPOILERS, FOR THE AFTERMATH OF THE SKULL TYRANT WISH

If you do the wish to hunt down the Skull Tyrant, next time you sit at the bench in the settlement, another Skull Tyrant starts rampaging there, breaking the wish wall, the bench, and killing the Little Pilgrim. You know, one of the first guys you spoke to. The poor sod that couldn’t quite get himself to actually start his pilgrimage?

When you later come back, you can witness the other pilgrims giving him a funeral, such as they can. None of them even knew their name. The funeral ends with their body thrown into the holes down into Moss Grotto, directly where Hornet fell at the start of the game. You can later find him right next to the cage, and for some reason that was even more of a gut punch than anything else.

A little fan art that burst out of me in a matter of a couple hours, now that I’m recovering from having been sick again. Like, literally took me slightly over two hours. This is the first time I’ve done anything completely without line art. I sometimes thumbnail without a sketch but I always make a sketch later, once I’ve picked my composition. Not this time. Greyscale first and straight to color painting from there.
