Story accompaniment to "The One-Eyed Stranger".

The same thing perplexes Mina that perplexes everyone else: how exactly does Victor "regenerate"? In her heart she wants to punish him, but she needs to understand what she's punishing first or vengeance will just keep slipping away.

Sadly, she comes away with more questions than answers. Most people do.

This one's a thick infodump, for which I only halfheartedly apologize. It's also a fair time after both the unposted Chapter 2 (the pirate arc) and her vacation, but that's because the pirate arc is all full scene illustrations and those will take a lot of time.

So when Chapter 2 rolls around, think of it as a story you're rereading before having read it. That's on brand, I think.
