And here is one of my absolute favorite pieces to have commissioned ever - for very clear reasons. For my first time commissioning Amayensis, this sure was a high honor. Even when I was discussing prompt ideas with her, I could scarcely believe that I was in the presence of and potentially receiving a piece from her, of my character. Gah!! Much less of such a sophisticated and classy idea as this! I was instantly inspired by a previous commissioned piece of hers of one of Avelos' fine taste of characters, and so I inquired Amayensis about the possibilities of getting something similar. Well, we can see the results of that.

It was my distinct honor to see the piece take shape. Amayensis's technique and practiced methodology to analyzing the pose, the anatomical structure of such a fish-dragon character in such a pose, and lastly the colors and hues to include for this classical and Baroque-esque style was nothing short of awe-inspiring. So much went into the creation of this piece! All this quality and taste is mostly definitely worth it, and I can't wait to return for another piece from her again. She perfectly emulated that haughty and tasteful atmosphere all over, and I could not be happier.

As for the piece-! Faen is not necessarily one to seek out attention, but he knows he looks good. Add to that his standard taste for composure and conducting himself elegantly, and we have an individual who could make modeling look like a breeze. Just that lithe body sprawled on a comfortable couch, one leg propping up an arm for a relaxed gesture of mild interest and/or disdain, while the rest of his long body winds further down, even curling around underneath the seat... and those bioluminescent patterns becoming more and more distinct the further away from the focus of his upper-body! And just to observe the scale detailing, whether it's the harder and tougher thigh and neck scales as opposed to the smaller and finer scales on his torso and abdomen... ah. Not to mention the detail of that tastefully arranged cloth, or the texture of those aquatic frills and fins, or the subtleties of that unconcerned expression.
