The concept art version of him is so slick. Its a shame they ditched it but it was probably for some artistic reason.

They liked hiding him in plain sight before they introduce him as a character so It wouldnt surprise me if they opted to give him more neutral colours so he didnt stand out as much.

I always find the flow of capes/robes like that bring more ambiance to the character especially with the background.

This is actually badass. That cape flowing in and that blood moon window is practically everything you see before the coolest optional boss that's about to kick your ass.
