Occasionally appears on the desktop while in use, making the owner think they downloaded a shimeji or something until one of their friends tells them about digimon and they finally put 2 and 2 together on why their computer has been working so much better lately

I'd name them Souta, (壮太), due to the fact that they combine two of the strongest rookie type digimon.

The digital world is filled with countless mysteries, some beyond the imagination of the average person. one of these is the fusion zone, a strange place rumored by many to make entire new species of digimon from those who wander in. Souta is one such case of fusion, formerly being a Gatomon and a Renamon who had entered the zone unaware of one another. Now fused together the new being has to find his way in life in the digital world, though with the power he wields it shouldn't be too hard

would likely call them Casia (just feels like it would have to be something ending in ia)

and as cliche as it could be I'd see them as a "turns towards the camera and does the hand puppet thing" type of sass in general conversations when she thinks the other person isn't looking, and the "sigh I guess" attitude when it comes to physical contact even though they enjoy it.
reads books while alone and doesn't tell anyone unless what she reads just happens to be brought up in a one on one conversation (hyperfixation floodgates have been opened) all because they feel like they're the type that shouldn't be expected to like completely normal activities

Lunarysmon was born from corrupted data from obsolete security programs mixed with fragments of ancient tales. Its dark body and purple markings symbolize the duality between protection and destruction. Although intimidating in appearance, this Digimon often watches over vulnerable areas of the digital network from the shadows, hunting down overly aggressive viruses. However, if it loses control, its attacks can be as destructive as those of the Digimon it fights.

Personality:
Calm and calculating, Lunarysmon prefers to observe before acting. He possesses a form of instinctive wisdom and acts as a silent judge in the Digital World, deciding whether an intruder deserves to be protected or erased.

They're so cute! Probably name them Sin and have them be an assassin for hire of sorts. Forced into doing other's dirty work despite wanting to help others due to their virus typing making others uneasy around them. They're good at their job, but they'd much rather be doing something friendlier and cleaner. They'd be a huge sweetheart and probably great with kids. They TRY to do legit work, but it's either due to their type or the fact they can be incredibly clumsy that keeps them from getting hired. Will going after targets they're far more graceful, but only because they learned they half to be. Has an unreasonable fear of cucumbers and loves to hoard shiny things.

I imagine they're probably a Renamon that absorbed a corrupted BlackGatomon's data and it altered their code irreparably.

I'd call her Catsimon or Caitsimon in reference to to the Gaelic cat-sìth (also called "cait-shìth" or "cat sí").

In Gaelic lore, cat sí are either fairies or witches that stole away the souls of the recently deceased. To prevent this, people would perform "Late Wakes," which became the basis for wakes in the modern day. Cat sí were also said to be attracted to heat, would grant good luck if you left milk out for them, and walks on all fours to to avoid detection.

With that in mind, Catsimon are nomadic Digimon that traverse the digital world in search of rival factions that battle eachother regularly. When such battles occur, it/they lurk(s) around the battleground, scavenging the data of fallen Digimon for itself. These leads them to be feared and demonized by other Digimon, seeing them as ill omens. However, some Catsimon will settle down in communities that don't immediately shun them, using the data they've collected to defend and rejuvenate the area they've settled in.

When Catsimon are taken on by or take on a human partner, it opens them to two potential paths. If their partner is kind and caring, forming a true bond between them, Catsimon digivolves into an angelic or fairy-like Digimon. However, if their partner is cruel and treats the Catsimon as only a tool for battle, it will follow a digivolution path that turns it into a demonic or witch-like monster.

Takara! They have a digimon tamer who they absolutely trust. While they are a hard fighter, they prefer not to fight unless have to in order to keep their tamer safe from harm from other digimon in the real world.

I'd name them Tally, they'd be a stealth specialist and long range marksman.

They're part of a small bounty hunting outfit that has other humans, Digimon, and Digi-hybrids (like themselves) in the seedier side of a future Tokyo that's similar to the world from Digimon Tamers that ended up in Cyberpunk 2077 where due to the advancement of technology they face cybernetically augmented humans of varying sanity, rogue Digimon, less stable Digi-hybrids, modded/hacked Digimon, the mostly corrupt corpo backed government/law enforcement, and worst of all...

A curious little guardian who hides behind monitors, secretly cheering whenever someone finishes a tough level of a video game, or giving them encouragement using a little buddy exe that auto launches without being opened!

Kurenamon! I imagine they're a very "leave me alone and I'll leave you alone" type digimon, but if you get on their bad side they won't stop until you seek forgiveness ehe

Oh my gosh they’re so cute!

I would name them Huanmon after the Huan cat mythos from China. The Huan is a cat with three tails (which the three tufts at the end of their tail is what reminded me of this mythical creature) and it is said they can make over a thousand sounds and are known to ward off evil. I also saw something about eating their skin curing Jaundice? So it could be that this digimon is so rare and hard to find because other digimon seek it out to eat it and either gain its power, cure some sort of fractured code, or both! It would make this digimon quite solitary and elusive, and I can see them being paired with a digidestined that has trouble communicating with others and making friends, but taken to the extreme. Maybe they were bullied into silence as a younger child or experienced something traumatic and haven’t spoken since, and they finally find their voice again when their partner is truly in danger and that’s what gives their partner Huanmon the courage and power to step out of the shadows fully and fight back with a vengeance.
