Two trains and some light power wait at Indiana Harbor in East Chicago, Indiana. An Indiana Harbor Belt Railway branch line meets the Norfolk Southern east-west main line here, and steel and related products from the steel mills in the area are interchanged between the two railroads. On the left, an IHB switcher has steel coils in tow, which will be picked up by the NS engine on the right, for delivery to a finishing plant. On the far right, an NS mixed freight waits for signal clearance to continue west to Chicago.
