Oops! Almost forgot to upload CUBIE!!!! Standing at a terrifying height of 23 inches, this little guy is just a booming good time!
This guy made his debut at Anime Expo 2011, and because everyone was asking, I'll answer all the questions here:
Cubie is my personal plush, but if anyone really wanted him, he costs $350.
"That's a lot...": Cubie consists of over 1300 squares that I had to sew together in random blocks, or not random when doing his face and little toes.
"Will you make another?" SURE! But only if the price is right (Look above)
"You should make a life sized creeper!": HA HA HA- (look above)
"Will Cubie blow up?" NOPE! I made sure this one was born without the TNT block! [LINK]
Enjoy the envy! MUAHAHAHHA!!! *gets blown up*

This is honestly one of the most impressive pieces of artwork I've ever seen. I mean, really. Completely blows me away. Those little squares are IMMACULATE! I really have never been satisfied with any sort of 3D renderings of Creepers before; they always looked lumpy and gross. But yours...it's flawless. I LOVE THIS! Your hands are magic. ;-; You deserve more recognition for this.
I like it- but it really takes some time to get use to the fact that it likes to shift and stretch. When I first started I was pinning like every inch, both in the cutting stage and sewing stage, so that things did not get off. But other then that it's great stuff! Doesn't unravel at the edges either and quite strong (I made a beanbag chair with scraps!) So soft mmmmm ^____^ and easy to care for. But it's pricy, not as pricy as good fur, but it's not felt or fleece either!
Well, if you ever want- we can work out payment plans ;D or you could just look into one of the heads I make. :3
Either way, thank you much. I myself have not posted him on the forums, and I have not heard if anyone else has. I would love to make one for Notch and give it to him if he wanted, but shipping could kill me, and I can't make it to the convention :T so we shal see. I plan on upgrading this guy too, by getting a doll joint and put in a rotation point so the head can move :3

Oh god, you tempt me so much...I do want him, badly. I need to talk to my other half though - 350.00 constitutes a "major purchase" with me out of work due to a work related back injury (and having to practically sic an army of creepers on them to get ANYTHING done for the last 2.5 years....>F I WOULD CREEPER THEM SO HARD).
What sort of payment plan(s) were you thinking? I am totally serious about getting him....and I can often sell artwork (I can still sketch flat on my back!) I'd love to see if we could work something out. o3o oh man, doll joooointed - that would be awesome. Maybe a wire armature would work better than a doll joint for articulation? If you do stick with a doll joint, I totally recommend you couch it (the joint) in a .25 or .5 cm silicon/rubber disk to help smooth out the movement and keep the joint from wearing down too quickly.
If the above statement is odd, I can explain: I own several ABJDs (Selling them slowly over time, bleh) and have done a lot of 'customizations' of ball jointed dolls (asian or otherwise). :D

Lol, no I don't have instructions, but really; it's pretty damn easy to figure out. All graphics in Minecraft are based on a 8 bit system. Blocks are 8 'pixels' widexhighxdepth. So really, if you wanted to make a plush, just look at the pixel count and define what you want the pixel's size to be. For cubie, I wanted each pixel to be 1" finished, finished size should be around 8"wide and how ever many tall, and so each square I cut was 1.5" cause I have to think about seam allowances.
In all, the hardest part of making a creeper plush is the face, everything else was just random if you want to go as far as do each pixel.
If you wanted to just do a simple version with just a solid colored piece of fabric, all you have to do is figure the finished size you want, and to all pieces you cut out you add a seam allowance.
There is the secret to my creeper ;)

Minky is SUPER soft, but can be a little tricky to work with if you aren't use to it or sewing, it's also expensive. And I used some good foam used for upholstery and this sort of craft to stuff him so he would keep his 'blocky' shape XD But that takes some math and popper cutting tools to make a good fit.
I wish you luck and be sure to show me what you make! :D
