Note: Sorry I'm a few hours late in getting this comic posted today. The timing didn't work out to where I could get all of the inking done before the midnight deadline, so I made extra sure to get it all done as soon as I could today.
Here we see the other side of this storyline. Peter may still be avoiding contact with the other kids in the neighborhood, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have other plans on his agenda!
Once again, this part of Peter's story is based on an incident that actually happened to me as a kid. I won't give any hints to what happens, but it was definitely one of those "What was I THINKING??" moments from my childhood.

I forsee torrential downpour in the near future. or that peter has no clue how to judge depths... or worse, that island is infested with ticks and ants and all manner of nasty creepy crawly.
anyway, i'm pretty sure most of my what was i thinking involved electrical things. like using extension cords that ha exposed wires, in wet grass(that one ended up shorting out part of the house when i zapped myself not once but three times trying to use the cord to power a hedge trimmer.) or plugging the plug of a nightlight into the bulb socket of another nightlight (b right flash and plenty of vaporised metal) or pouring ice water on a really hot light bulb (I ended up on my ass frive feet away from the light bulb with no idea how i got there).
