So ever since I was a kid I've had this vague story idea in my head that would show up from time to time in my games and scribbles and writings that basically just boiled down to 'stuff I think is badass', this post-apocalyptic setting where prehistoric animals are trying to survive in a sea of lava. Back then they were usually dinosaurs, but a few years ago I had the idea to revisit the topic but with animals from the permian period because they're often overlooked and the whole 'lava sea' setting makes more sense for that time period. They all live on rafts and boats and all the technology/architecture/clothing is very H. R. Giger because I saw some of his art in a book as a kid and thought it was very cool.

This is Humbug, the protagonist. To her knowledge, she's the last dimetrodon left on the planet. She's an outcast and lives on her own little raft, traveling from place to place selling whatever she can find to make ends meat. It's a dangerous world out there, especially when you're on your own.
