This piece is very special to me. Around the time of my 27th birthday last year, we received news from our landlord that our lease was far past due and he wanted us out in a month with no ifs or buts. This was an extremely stressful time for us and we had to quickly gather as much money as we could (taking out loans and borrowing a huge cut of money from my dad) to even make it happen. I couldn't even sleep at night. I only had my art and the support of my followers to help carry me through it. So I made this piece two days after I got the news to help me smile. Myself as the werewolf, taking comfort in the owl that helped me bring motivation to art and the community that welcomed me. It's a gorgeous piece, even if Tylo himself here is a bit outdated since I changed his design by now lol BUT that's beside the point.
