I fell in love with the breed as a childback in 1955 when I saw Disney's full-length cartoon, Lady and the Tramp. The dog pound scene was a pure joy, and Boris (of course, for a Russian Wolfhound) just delighted me. He was poised, sophisticated, and comfortingly attentive towards poor Lady, the cocker spaniel heroine, who was predictably terrified.

I always wondered why the Disney folks didn't make a few shorts with the Dog Pound crew. Boris would have been a stand-out!

Borzoi dogs are so cute and this depicted girl reflects all the characteristics of her majestic breed. Really a wonderful scenery and character you drew here :3 🌊🌾

Borzois are the perfect balance of comedy and class.
