Written for saxophone quartet (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone), glockenspiel, and piano, this is my simplified take on the main theme tune to the animated television series "The 7D." The show itself is a re-imagining of the Seven Dwarfs (Doc, Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, Grumpy, Happy, and Dopey). Snow White is nowhere to be found; instead, the dwarfs are protectors of Jollywood, ruled by Queen Delightful, which is constantly under attack from a warlock and witch, a husband and wife named Grim and Hildy Gloom, who want the kingdom for themselves.
