The sky has always fascinated young Matty McConnell, especially when the sky turns angry. On one particularly stormy day in rural Oklahoma, Matty and his two friends, Kieran and Zerum, take a field trip in the Cyclone Charger, with one goal: to get data from the inside of a tornado.
A wild chase and a few ground anchors later, and they get a chance to glimpse one of nature's rarest masterpieces: the eye of a tornado.
