Bucko is the first ever robot that was intentionally made to look, sound, feel and overall be like the typical anthropomorphic being. Made by Valve & Skynet back in the very late 90s after 5 years of development, Bucko was the first and only of her kind, she has the specs of a steam deck way before the steam deck dropped, is able to display visuals and play audio on her face and is able to hook herself up to any household TV, is both RGB TVs and later on, HDMI compatible TVs.
Though in early 1999 Skynet backed out of raising and taking care of Bucko, deeming her as a failure and giving her to Valve as a tax write off. So Gabe Newell and the Valve crew took care of her. As for Skynet, they went bankrupt in very late 1999.
As for her as a person... kinda... Bucko is one of the most sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and she isn't even a person! The cyberdeer will do whatever it takes to make the people around her happy, staff, friends, family, partners, you name it? Bucko will do what she can to be there for them.
