These are Ancestors, they're not really in the Sburb system. They're more like characters from the old history mixed with folklore, half-true, I'd say. As far as I remember their titles should consist of 8 letters, but I let myself be a bit frivolous with it.

As an excuse for myself, I usually say these exact trolls are not really from Alternia and the commonly known Homestuck timeline. I remember Hussy saying that there were so many paradoxes and time distortion that actually any alternative timeline and planet can exist.

However!! I do have their descendants from the time when Sburb could possibly exist and they do have correct names (Zahary Harmon and Zorcke Harmon; though Agnahi Harmon also has correct number of letters in his name XD)

So! I used to be quite meticulous when developing the younger trolls with the balance of classpects, number of letters and so on, but I gave myself a bit of artistic freedom with Ancestors XD

Yan'Tovis has 8 letters, by the way, which quite correlates with Ancestors' names like Dualscar or the Summoner!

Anyway, I'm glad to see your being attentive to notice some flaws with the names! Thank you for a good chance to share a bit of my point of view XD

I forgot about Ancestors and some having copious amounts of hair! (i think in fact about a subjugglator in particular).

Ancestors, at least to me, seems to have a more... focused purpose in life? Maybe because they're adult trolls?

Yeah, I liked Ancestors more because their story seemed more serious as well. It was a big contrast with the teenage drama of other generations, so I got very keen on that possible timeline of harsh medieval-like events.

Ancestors were extremely serious, I liked the story of them being cruel as it actually showed me how adult trolls behave. So yeah, this lil comics and my character of this timeline more or less correlate with the original Ancestors arch~

And no magical Faygo bushes!

Jokes aside,you're right: That's the thing about them: Our only window to what is the behaviour of adult trolls.

Yeah... I usually feel a bit upset there's not enough lore on them, but that definitely gives lots of artistic freedom!

Who knows? Maybe in Beyond canon we'll end seeing more of them! At least the chartacters are adults now. The veterans, i mean.
