I'm starting an online school for all kinds of furry-related art. Since I had no luck finding a real artist to take on the project, here is my first attempt at a logo by myself. I may modify this later, but for now it is good enough to go on the site, which I should have up and running by tonight

Yes, but you need to keep in mind that the logo should be simple. If you have too much stuff going on it looks like a muddled mess. Examples of excellent logos: McDonald's arches; Nike's swoosh; NBC peacock. Example of a bad logo: Starbucks.
I'd actually like to simplify this further, but I needed to convey all that was going on here.
