Snap's Expression sheet! - Watercolor paintings

I have been working on this for the last couple of weeks, I'm completely satisfited with how it turned out. This was my first real attempt at colouring something. I only have used watercolors because they were all I had, I was so afraid of finally dwelving into color since everybody in the community mentions how difficult color theory is and all that.
I think it just takes patience to actually do the process of understanding what you want to do and not rushing things; hoping that whatever you're doing turns "Good enough"
Because that's exactly what i did while trying to do the 3rd "Grumpy one" In my opinion it is the worst one and i know just why, after all i was the one who made it and; I know that I rushed the sketching and drawing process, Then made a meager lineart off of that and finally: poorly added color with my brushes. And the reason i did that was because the previous two ones had turned So good, which gave me too much positive feedback that turned into bravado thinking i was just that good.
The first one i consider the best (technical-wise) because it was my very introduction to color and i didn't want to mess it up, I was slow and steady, maybe overly careful even, but the result was a tidy and consistent process that got easier and easier as the image started taking up shape, And so i felt like i was doing it right.
The second one was me fresh out the high i felt from doing the previous: Exited to try again since the last was great, And i felt more confident and free but still taking due care.
And finally the last, That was me doubtful at first, but determined to do my best, stopping to analize what I had done right in the previous ones and not rush anything at all.
It was the most difficult of them all, I had to redo the eyes a lot of times. But, in the end; it proved that the result that i should expect wasn't tied to innate talent or spontaneity, But rather following through with a plan, Care and patience.
This was a great challenge and a memorable experience. Struggled a lot but also learned lots, And the satisfaction of seeing it finished tops both of them off.
