She's growing!
This is the tarantula that I received as one of my birthday presents from
arpad last year. She still doesn't have a name, but gosh is she growing.
She's about a year old I would guess, and is a Red-Knee Tarantula. That's my hand. :D She is a really really quick and aggressive eater, and has been really very small most of the time I've had her (she's still so small) so I've been afraid to hold her, but she was SO calm and settled! Pleasant surprise!

Why scary? They are about as harmless as you can get. If you just made a fist you could squish it, lol.
I guess they bite sometimes, but I've never personally been bitten and I've handled a bunch of tarantulas. :V Even if it did bite, it wouldn't do very much. I am very very large and though they are big for arachnids they are very very small compared to us, haha.

Aaahhh I hate spiders but I do like looking at them. My brother has a rose haird nameds Rosey, she is pretty big now and I don't mind her to much, I just like to watch her some times. There hair makes me break out in a rash so I could not hold her even if I was not afraid of spiders.
