So, I've seen this sort of thing about a lot and seeing as I just recently did a major art (hint: bottom right) for the first time in a while I figured that looking back on my old stuff would be worthwhile.
Lots of good memories and proud moments, although it's a shame to see just how much stuff I was making in mid-to-late 2009 and even 2010 compared to now. Still, interesting to see how my default lineless style has evolved over time and how my experimenting with styles has jumped all over the place XD
This took a surprisingly long time to do (probably due to me trying to crop/resize images to fit well only to decided "screw it" and because I just browsed through my own stuff for quite a while) and rather than use any existing template or do something nice and simplistic, I went a bit overboard styling everything ^_^;
These pieces aren't necessarily my favourite or best but they do a good job of illustrating how things have changed.
I purposefully left out art that heavily relied upon existing art done by others (e.g. 3d models), sketches (with the exception of the Xan concept in 2011 as it shows that I couldn't do much in the way of full arts this year) and anything that was done using expensive imaging software at school or at a friend's (e.g Photoshop)
Artwork here is (C) me. Characters belong to their respective owners, search my gallery for the original pieces.
As ever, this was made using the GNU Image Manipulation Program.
