Lothar ARK Dossier reveal
Ark Survival Ascended dossier reveal: Lothar.
Lothar the furred dragon is coming to the Ark very soon !
Here is the creature dossier that will be available in game. Many thanks to
Techno--Raptor for the artwork.
The Lothar Mod is still in progress, I don't have a precise date to tell you, but it's very soon.
All the animations are ready, the mod enters its final programming steps, we clearly are on the road to official release now 🔜
Are you ready to roam across the Ark with Lothar?
Here are some more details revealed about him, as a teaser for you:
- The taming method is egg gathering. You will have to search for Lothar nest, pick up his egg, and hatch it to raise him. I'm pretty sure you can not wait to cuddle your baby Lothy <3
- Lothar is an ice dragon, expect to be able to use his powerful frost breath to freeze in place your ennemies and use some other dangerous ice based attacks.
- He is very good at flying, of course! Expect excellent maneuverability, he is able to glide and dive to fly at very high speed. He is also able to fly backwards.
- Lothar is a hungry predator, find small critters and gulp them instantly to restore his health!
- Lothar's warm fur will protect you from the cold weather.
- You do not need any saddle to ride him.
- Lothar will be allowed on all maps.
And many other things to discover ! The full list of his abilities will be listed on release in the first patch note.

Yes. No gender, but you will be able to breed 2 Lothar together for better stats.
Also, there will be 2 versions of the mod.
The full version will have Lothar's full abilities, working only on custom servers and in singleplayer.
The alt version will be a Custom Cosmetic skin for the Griffin, working on the official network.

Hello ! Yes there will be a spawn command for him, but the mod is still not fully finished and not released yet. It's nearly finished, just needs the actual bugs/problems to be fixed. As soon as the mod will be available for download I will post news about it everywhere with all the infos you will need to be able to play with him :)
