Black and white illustration of my character “Mercury Mangy” to honor Freddie Mercury’s birthday today.
Mercury Mangy is my original character for my comic/art series “Monstrous Majesty”. He is an evil intergalactic overlord whose goal is to dominate the entire universe through music and fried chicken. He is a cat alien monster, and is the reason why cats roam our Earth today.
This illustration was done traditionally in my sketchbook with ink. It was started last year in August/September but was never posted.
Happy birthday to Freddie Mercury, he would have been 79 today if he were still alive. I sometimes wonder what he would have thought of Mangy’s character.
