In the universe of the Tripartitus... In a world lost deep in the chaos of war, where men fight their brothers in an ancient quest for power in cataclysmic battles of magic, where forbidden and arcane powers unleashed have wrought the land with ruin, physics unbound have created a landscape of dreams and nightmares. A wounded and foolishly unprepared Luke Damon, stranger to this corner of the universe, retreats from his assailant when a great shadow passes overhead... A black Angel, a creature of lore and power the likes of which have only been seen in ancient scripture, armoured in brilliant gold and silver, descends to the earth in Damon's defence...

This is Raydl's proposed first appearance in my novel. The scene has not actually been written, but that is a general description of what it's supposed to be like, and here's a possible depiction of it. I worked on it off and on for a year.

Done at age 17/18. Graphite, Adobe PhotoShop 6.0. References used to help with gryphon pose and helm. Armour inspired by Legend of Dragoon.
