If I recall correctly, I never was able to take the anime seriously because glaringly no one has tails haha. Sherlock was always kinda cute but in your style he's incredibly so.

As benefit of the doubt I investigated that possibility too but nope, not hidden behind clothes. They simply cut all them tails off. It's almost as weird as human characters with tails, something just looks off to me but whatever lol. I prefer your interpretation.
