After fighting with this, being heartbroken and losing everything and having to repaint it all pretty much from scratch, I am happy to say this piece is as done as it's going to be. It's time to move on to something else. I am actually really pleased with how this came out. This is my first full digital painting of this magnitude including a background. I hope to do more in the future and continue to improve. Here is info on the creature itself:I guess this is sort of a different take on a Sleipnir type horse. My creature can use it's skin as a defense mechanism. It basically has control of it's skin like a webbing, and can detach it's head skin to look extra threatening, and as if it is two headed. The skin all over it's body turns liquidish yet firm, and can grab other creatures and suffocate them like a consticter before it eats it's pray. It is Omnivorous, but it usually only eats meat if it feels threatened and is forced to kill. It is not wasteful, so will eat anything it kills including the bones. It has 5 extra talons used for grabbing and clawing for defense besides just its skin. Also usually covered by the skin on its sides and flanks are two leathery bat wings, that will be ripped free if the creature needs to flee quickly. It's wings are also used in territorial displays and courting. Lives in dank forests mostly, but some have made homes in mountain caves.
Anyways, I hope you all enjoy my made up scary wtf creature! It was a LOT of fun to make, but took many many hours. I actually lost my entire first painting of this, after my computer corrupted the original file. I was luckly livestreaming when it happened, so I comprises pieces of screen grabs of my original and repainted the whole thing in higher quality bit by bit over top of it, so all in all I think this took like 30 hours. Maybe more including time lost. Hope it wins and hope you all enjoy it!

Hey this turned out great even though you had to re-do it! Pretty scary for me too cause that forest looks like the woods just a few meters away from my house where a farmer ride her horses... Anyway, lovely to see something different on fa other than all that cuddly and cute stuff! I advise you to change the submission rating however, some people might see this as gore and be offended. Great work either way!
Thanks so much for your comment I really appreciate it! I didn't put it as mature since it is a realistic almost surrealistic painting, and I didnt actually paint blood dripping or anything, Like I was originally thinking of doing. So I thought it could pass just barely as not being mature lol I just wanted more people to be able to see it that like art, but don't want to see giant cocks.
