I teased this character a few uploads ago while the lead guitarist and singer Babs was shooting some photos for "Promotional Material." Introducing Madelin, or Maddie as she prefers. The panther bassist for the ever rising metal band Renegade.
Madelin Bishop was born into a life on the road. Her family were a group of exiled nomads that found shelter in ghost towns, small pockets of civilization that had been completely abandoned by the corporations that had built them after they realized the area wasn't bringing in profit.
For a few years, they lived in an abandoned hotel near a New Avalon coastal town funded by a luxurious fashion company called Majestique with the goal to create what they called a "fashion hub." Unfortunately for them, no one in the affluent paradises of the west coast wanted to go to the chilly, foggy, and poorer east coast. Ultimately leading to them abandoning the town altogether.
Maddie spent most of her childhood there, where she learned to read and write from one of the other families that had taken shelter in one of the other spots of the hotel. She would even find an abandoned music store in the town, where she hobbled together a makeshift guitar and learned to play with the other kids by mimicking the sounds they heard from a cracked phone with a huge collection of music.
That was until her late teenage years when an armed militia from Geneticorp forced her family and all the other "pioneers" out as they'd bought the land to convert into lab space. Her home was completely demolished before she could take any of her possessions, all she had was the clothes on her back, and her makeshift guitar.
The Bishop family would live on the road a few more years, scraping up what money they could to survive as they searched for a place to call home. All while Maddie couldn't help but dream of playing again. She'd practice with those same songs she'd practice with her friends at the hotel, mostly hard rock and metal music from the 2020s.
As Maddie was hitting adulthood, she decided to leave the pioneer life to become a musician. She told her parents that should come back a star, and pay for a big house for them to live comfortably in. Her parents didn't fight Maddie leaving, hopeful that she could find a better life on her own than with them.
The big cat had found herself then in the big city of Prospera, the city built to be a corporate hub where they can set ports, large scale operations, and have a place to relax and revel in their success. At first she didn't find the success that she wanted, being a self taught guitarist with not much talent for vocals does not a rockstar make. The best she could get was a few tips on open mic nights as sleazy bars.
That was until she met a rather eccentric rabbit Barbara Castle, or Babs as she called herself. She too was an aspiring artist looking to start a band to get people to "break out of the corporate mold the world put us in." Something that felt all too familiar to Maddie as she recalled being forced out of her home by militarized corps armed to the teeth.
Inspired by the rabbit's message and believing in her potential, Maddie decided to join Renegade without a second thought. Babs helped Maddie hone her skill and become a quite skilled bassist, and they've been inseparable since.

Oooo! Maddie's a sexy looking panther gal! Looking so strong and fierce and like a total badass~ π Love that dark gray fur and darker hair, it's part of why she looks so cool. Her hair's short length and slight unkemptness also plays to the punky rocker looks that's ready for a fight! That grin biting her lip, that look in her eyes... Oh she looks like she's ready to pounce on me. And that chest floof! Hehe! Cute, snuggly, and still awesome looking~ πGives her a little more of a tomboyish look.
And it all works so well with her outfit! The black bra, perfect. Goes with her fur and keeps it as a base for the red and blue to stand out. Red and blue, classic combo, btw. Such a bright red, open jacket with 1 dark red armband gives her a powerful vibe, love the silver buttons on it. A nice touch. ^!^ And the torn dark bluejeans are a classic staple for her kinda look, and they keep her looking dark. π All of this, especially the red, makes her look like the strong powerhouse of the team!
Especially with those chrome hands. Wonder what the story behind those is? They're looking strong. Good for playing bass like a pro, and punch someone in the face! Or through a car! XD
And then there's her bass guitar! Simple, but cool and classic. And you know I love black and white. Looks like a good guitar, well loved, and love how the neck is going under her boob. Heheh. Gotta show off the girls~ π
Now for the story: Looove it! ^!^ She made the most of her despot life, stayed strong, and learned not to let poverty bother her. She follows her heart, has her parents' support, and now Babs' too! Hehe! ^!^ She's just such a strong gal who's rising up and not stopping. Working hard and kicking ass to do what's right and show the rich snobs they're asking for justice from those they hurt! It's kinda like Asta from Black Clover. ^!^ (Only she's not an orphan.)
Wonder where her tail is. Must be behind her leg. Hehe. ^!^ Bet her ass is nice too~ π

First, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA EACH NEW PIECE OF ART IS MORE AND MORE AWESOME!
Second, she's got a very interesting backstory. Compared to some of the other folks hers seems far more tame and, after a fashion, normal comparatively.
I also loooooooooooovvvveeee her overall general look, but what really sells this piece is the face and expression. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I just love this so damned much~!
